Culture Night: An Evening with Thérèse Fahy

Culture Night comprises of hundreds of events across Ireland and overseas. It is the one night in the year when arts and cultural organisations open their doors late with hundreds of free events, talks, tours and performances for you to enjoy.
This year King House marks the occasion with a performance by one of Ireland’s leading pianists Thérèse Fahy. A highlight of the performance will be a performance of a piece written to celebrate Yeats 150, by Roscommon based composer Siobhan Cleary, which will be performed as part of a programme that includes old and new piano masterpieces.
Dublin-born concert pianist, Thérèse Fahy, enjoys an active performing career at home and abroad. Recently described by the Irish Times as ' a tour de force ', her regular recital and concerto appearances throughout Europe and the United States have met with critical acclaim, as have her numerous broadcasts for both RTÉ and BBC.
